[about] => I was born in Texas and I grew up in Texas. That doesn't mean that I am a cowboy! The best experience of my life: On August 3rd, 2013 I departed from the Houston, Texas International Airport and began my journey to Ukraine. I arrived at the international airport in Odessa and met my great friend Valeriya for the first time in four years. That night, we took a train to Kyiv and stayed there for 4 days. We missed our train to Lviv, so we had to take a bus instead! I will never forget that night) After arriving in Lviv, we spent the evening there and then took another train to Chernivtsi. We were in Chernivtsi for one day (we also got to visit Kaminyets-Podilskiy and Khotin). After that, we took another train to Sevastopol. Valeriya and I stayed there for 3 days and met with friends and enjoyed swimming in the beautiful Black Sea. Our next destination was Odessa. When we arrived to Odessa I became really sick but Valeriya took great care of me) Once I was better we were able to go explore Odessa a little bit. After 3 days in Odessa it was time for me to leave. Saying goodbye was very hard and I was pretty upset for a while afterwards because I didn't want the journey to end. As I write this story, it has already been half a year since I left Ukraine. I think about it every single day and I will never forget the experiences I had. The only thing I can do to keep myself from missing it too much is to look forward the next great journey I will have and the next time I get to reunite with one of the best friends life will ever give me.
